The Vikings invented spooning in Dublin.

My latest journey was to the land of Blarney Stones and Leprechauns....Dublin, Ireland! The group of girls and I decided that it was time to hop the little pond on a 45 minute flight the city to explore a little. We did a TON of stuff. We went on a 3 hour walking tour of the city and pretty much saw the entire city. Also, we went to the Guinness Factory and learned how to pour the Perfect Pint! (I even have a certificate :) ).

Our tour guide was hysterical! Some of his quotes from the tour...
"As you can see from the tiny rooms, Vikings invented spooning."
"When did the Scandinavians stop raping and pillaging villages, and decided to invent IKEA?"

Taking a break from the walking tour

Pretty cool place! I was the champion of that pint of Guinness. Delicious!
After a long day in the city of Dublin, we decided to head 30 minutes to the west to go to the absolutely amazing city of Howth (pronounced like both). We were greeted with amazing weather and beautiful scenery.

This is called Kitchen in the Castle. It's a culinary school!

We followed some ladies up a hill and were amazed when we found this beautiful view!

And OF COURSE! You need a Classic Casee Picture. This hat was extremely tempting...

My next trip is going to be traveling to Slough, a suburb of London, with my good friends Simren and Sophie! More photos and stories to come!
